Mana Pools: 3 Night Package | US$ 2100 (May – July)

In the extreme north of Zimbabwe, you will find one of the country’s wildest National Parks, Mana Pools. Those seeking a true wilderness experience with an ‘off the beaten track’ ambience will be perfectly at home in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River across from Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park, sits this biodiverse area, Mana Pools – land of the grey giants! The huge elephants in the area are known to stand on their hind legs and feed off the Park’s numerous albida trees. Mana Pools is also well known for lion and leopard sightings along with the endangered wild dogs.

The Zambezi River has changed course over the years, and this has formed four large pools within the Park. ‘Mana’ in Shona (one of the main Zimbabwean languages) means four. These pools coupled with the mighty Zambezi provide Mana Pools with an abundance of water access for both vegetation and animals. Due to the Park’s thin vegetation, and of course incredible game and exceptional safari guides, walking is a major highlight. The safari guides are renowned for being highly trained and passionate, and will ensure unforgettable experiences.
