ITINERARY

Saturday: SPLIT
You will be transferred from Split airport or a hotel to the harbour where embarkation begins at 13h00. In the evening there will be a special welcome reception and dinner on board the boat.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored in Split (D)

Sunday: SPLIT – BOL – HVAR
After the cruise leaves Split its first stop will be at Bol, a small town on the island of Brac. Here you can go for a swim at the Golden Horn, a 530m long golden pebble beach said to be the best in Croatia. The beach is unique because it changes shape and positioning depending on the winds. Return to the boat for lunch after which it sets off to the island of Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet set. “Croatian Medeira”, as the island is also known, happens to be one of the longest islands to be found along the Croatian coastline. After arriving you will go on a guided tour of Hvar city, discovering highlights like the first public theatre in Europe, pre-dating even Shakespeare’s theatre in the UK, as well as other interesting historical sites.
Note: Due to limited capacity in Hvar Harbour during peak season in July and August the port of call might be changed to Stari Grad or Jelsa. If this is the case bus transfers to and from Hvar will be organised.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored in Hvar (BL)

Monday: HVAR – KORCULA
Today’s destination is Korcula, but first a stop will be made at one of the pristine bays along the way to provide a swimming opportunity and for lunch. You will arrive in Korcula in the afternoon, home to unspoilt beaches and coves that are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. It is thought that this island is the birthplace of the famous explorer, Marco Polo. The Old Town of Korcula features rich medieval architecture with palaces, churches and squares earning it the nickname “Little Dubrovnik”. You will go on a walking tour through the narrow, cobbled streets rich with history of this fascinating little city.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored in Korcula (BL)

Tuesday: KORCULA – DUBROVNIK
In the morning the cruise will continue from Korcula to Dubrovnik, the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’. After arriving you will take a tour of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979, and a bus ride overlooking it. Thereafter the remainder of the day will be all your leisure. Renaissance churches and palaces form a backdrop to outdoor cafes and market squares in this stunning city.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored in Dubrovnik (BL)

Wednesday: DUBROVNIK – MLJET
Today the cruise begins its journey back but first swap out history for nature on Croatia’s greenest island, Mljet. Mljet National Park features five types of forest, many species of birds and the two lakes it is famous for, The “Great Lake” (Veliko Jezero) and the “Small Lake” (Malo Jezero). You will go on a guided tour to the lakes and take a boat ride to St. Mary’s Island located in the larger of the lakes. Thereafter you will have time at leisure on this island which was supposedly a favourite holiday spot of the Greek hero Ulysses.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored in Mljet (BL)

Thursday: MLJET – BRAC
Most of today will just be taken up by cruising and taking breaks for a swim in picturesque secluded cloves. Have lunch on board as the boat continues to Pucisca, a beautiful little town on the island of Brac known for its stonemasonry, where you will arrive in the afternoon. Tonight there will be a special captain’s dinner on board the boat.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored in Brac (BLD)

Friday: BRAC – OMIS – SPLIT
The cruise continues to Omis after breakfast. One finds various fortresses in this area which act as silent stone reminders of the power of the infamous pirates that made their homes and fortunes there. You can either explore the area yourself or book an optional tour which sails up the Cetina River Canyon to Radman Mills where participants will get to taste some local specialities. Thereafter the cruise will continue to where it began, Split. A stop will be made along the way to offer participants a final chance for a swim and for lunch. You will arrive in Split in the later afternoon and take a guided tour of the UNESCO protected city centre.
