2 | IN DELHI Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch This day we will take you through the old Delhi and you will explore the old city on a hand pedalled cycle rickshaw, which is the best medium to explore these busy lanes, alleys and narrow streets strewn with stalls. During the visit we will take you to the spice market – ‘Khari Baoli’ – a wholesale spice market ofDelhi. It is the small and medieval-looking market selling varieties of spices. It is a unique experience for anyone to see huge quantities of spices being loaded, carried and unloaded simultaneously in the shops. After the spice market visit we will take you on a tea shop where they sell more than 100 varieties of tea. This visit will be followed by a cup of tea at the shop . Later proceed to Gurudwara (Sikh temple) and witness the community kitchen where meals (langar) for thousands of people are prepared daily. Also taste ‘langar’ at gurudwara. In the evening visit the UNESCO world heritage site – Humayun’s tomb. |

3 | EXCURSION TO AGRA Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch This day will take you on an excursion to ‘Agra – T he city of Taj’. Early in this morning we will transfer you to the railway station to board a train departing at 8:10 hrs. Upon arrival at 9:50 hrs we will meet and drive you to visit the iconic monument – T aj Mahal . After the visit we will take you to the streets of Agra where you will proceed for a food tour tasting the local cuisines of North India mainly Mughlai and Indian. This will be followed by a drive to the Agra fort – monument made of red sandstone. In the late afternoon proceed to the railway station to board train back to Delhi departing at 17:40 hrs. Arrive Delhi station at 19:20 hrs where we will meet and transfer you to the hotel. |

4 | FLY TO JAISALMER Meals included: Breakfast and Dinner This morning will be at leisure. In the afternoon we will transfer you to the airport to board a flight to Jaisalmer departing at 15:20 hrs. Arrive Jaisalmer airport at 16:35 hrs where you will be met and transferred to the hotel (residence of the rulers of Jaisalmer for more than two centuries). In the evening experience dinner at Mandir Palace with the royal family followed by a interaction with the family. |

5 | IN JAISALMER Meals included: Breakfast This morning you will proceed for a day tour of Jaisalmer covering the living fortress and havelis that are intricately crafted out of sandstone. Also visit a local sweet shop that specializes in making Ghotua Ladoo – sweet meat balls made with gram flour (an Indian sweet which is made out of beaten gram flour ). 6 | DRIVE TO ROHET Meals included: Breakfast This day drive to a Rajasthani village Rohet (315 Km – 5.5 hrs approx) . Enroute we will drive you to the blue cubed city of Jodhpur where you will visit Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant Thada. 7 | IN ROHET Meals included: Breakfast This day we will take you around the village through a jeep safari where you will see the local tribes and the farms. During this safari you will also experience Opium tea ceremony – The tea is traditionally produced from the Opium seeds but now it’s mild and taken form the shell. Villagers, historically, use on occasions such as weddings or family disputes to drink handfuls of the stuff from each other’s palms. It was their way of relaxing and re-energising.. Visit a local home to see the art of Dhurrie making (woven rugs). |

8 | DRIVE TO PUSHKAR Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch This day we will drive you to Pushkar – o ne of the most ancient city of India, (220 Km – 4 hrs approx). Arrive Pushkar where your stay has been planned at a heritage homestay. In the afternoon a farm lunch will be organized for you – the concentration is on the herbs instead of the spices and usage of locally grown vegetables, fruits etc. The endeavour is to serve traditional “Farmer’s food” and share with the guests the process of procuring and preparing the country food, which will take them back in time and open up their taste buds. |

9 | DRIVE TO JAIPUR Meals included: Breakfast Early in the morning we will take you to the vegetable market where various mobile vendors sell their vegetables. See the freshly picked vegetables and the trading process between the buyers and sellers. After breakfast, we will drive you to the pink city of Jaipur (145 Km – 3 hrs approx). Arrive in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. In the late afternoon we will take you on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting City palace, Hawa Mahal and observatory . On the way stop at a local lassi shop where you will learn and taste the welcome drink of North India prepared by curd. |

10 | IN JAIPUR Khas Bagh Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch This morning we will take you to visit the grand Amer fort . After the visit we will take you to a royal palace where a lunch will be served in a Royal thali (Royal Platter) – I n former times when royal families use to sit down for their meals. All the choicest dishes, the royal cuisine of various royal families was served authentically, mostly presented in silver or gold Bowl’s and served in thali. The importance of the food being served in gold and silver as both metals have curative qualities. The special Rajasthani thali will be served to you in rajputana style. The dishes will be explained by the staff of the Royal Palace. |

11 | IN JAIPUR Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch This morning we will take you on the outskirts of Jaipur to experience the Elephant safari with various other activities. This will be followed by breakfast at the venue. Later we will drive you to the hotel of your stay to be a part of cooking demonstration where the lady of the family will explain you about the local Rajasthani cuisines and share the recipes with you.
